Bismillahi Gargar Changes Name to Gargar

Due to some concerns that have been raised by various people on the usage of the name Bismillahi Gargar by the Somali women quartet promoted and produced by Ketebul Music, and in being sensitive to cultural and religious views, the group shall henceforth be known simply as Gargar.

Bismillahi Gargar Rehearsing for Sauti za Busara

Bismillahi Gargar are currently rehearsing at Alliance Francaise de Nairobi,  in preparation for Sauti za Busara Festival, where they have been invited to perform. Today was their first rehearsal session with their Nairobi based band.

This will be the first time for the ladies to travel to the island of Zanzibar, and it is surely going to be an exciting trip!
