Gargar performed on 1st June 2011 during the annual Madaraka Day celebrations. The state event was held at Nyayo stadium in Nairobi and was graced by The President, HE Mwai Kibaki, The Prime Minister Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga , government ministers and other dignitaries. The live performance was screened by leading TV stations around the region.
